2.1 The Guardian and Teachers agree to comply with all applicable laws, statutes, regulations including in relation to confidentiality, privacy, and GDPR.
2.2 No parties shall be liable to the other party for any breach by the other of any of the terms and conditions herein occasioned by pandemic, any act of God, war, revolution, riot, civil disturbance, strike, lock-out, flood, fire or other cause not reasonably within the control of such party.
3.1 The Teachers are committed to upholding the highest standards of safeguarding, child protection, and the protection of vulnerable individuals, in line with the Musicians’ Union (MU) Safeguarding Code of Conduct and Policy. A copy of the Teachers’ Safeguarding Statement is attached for your reference.
3.2 Sessions must not be recorded by either party unless there is prior agreement from all parties. Any agreed recordings must not be shared with third parties or uploaded to social media without prior consent from The Guardian.
3.3 All communication regarding the group must be between the Guardian and Teachers. Direct communication between the Pupil and Teachers is not permitted except in urgent situations and with prior Guardian approval.
3.4 Any defamatory, offensive, or illegal material aired online or via social media by the Pupil or Guardian, or any inappropriate behavior by either party, will result in the immediate termination of lessons. In such cases, no refunds will be given for unused sessions.

4.1 The Guardian is responsible for informing the Teachers of any medical, health, or other such condition(s) which may affect the learning experience and interaction.
4.2 I agree that, in the event of a medical emergency, the Teachers are authorised to seek professional medical care. I understand that the Teachers will attempt to contact the Guardian before seeking medical assistance but may need to contact emergency services first in urgent situations.
4.3 I am aware that the NHS advises the following:
Children under the age of 16 can consent to their own treatment if they are believed to have enough intelligence, competence and understanding to fully appreciate what’s involved in their treatment (known as being Gillick competent).
For further details, please refer to the NHS guide ‘Children and young people - consent to treatment’ at www.nhs.uk
4.4 I understand the Teachers are not first aiders and I consent to the Teachers treating the Pupil in whatever way, mentally and physically that they consider common sense and in the best interests of the Pupil.
4.5 I also consent to the Pupil being treated by any medical professionals called by the Teachers.
